Karl Barker

Karl Barker has extensive experience in vehicle systems engineering and architecture, currently serving as a Senior Technical Specialist for Cockpit Domain Architecture at JLR since January 2000. Barker has held various positions within the company, including Domain Architect roles focused on Vehicle Cockpit, Infotainment, and Connected Diagnostics, as well as System Architect for Vehicle Health Management. Previous experience includes a role as a Research and Development Engineer at Lucas Aerospace, specializing in embedded data networks for flight control systems, and as a Student Engineer at GEC Plessey Semiconductors. Karl Barker holds a Master’s degree in Microelectronics Systems Engineering from UMIST.
