Malindie Sugathapala

Malindie Sugathapala serves as the Big Data & AI Project Lead at Jaguar Land Rover since April 2016, focusing on computer vision for self-driving software verification and validation, natural language processing for technical customer service, warranty cost reduction, and COVID-19 emergency response initiatives. Previous roles include Research Strategy Subject Matter Expert and vehicle engineering management for the Land Rover Defender, addressing wheelchair accessibility and safety features. Malindie's early experience includes an undergraduate research position at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, developing a program for tracking coronary arteries in MRI sequences.
