Nicholas Guntrip-Hook

Nicholas Guntrip-Hook is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both automotive engineering and horticulture. Currently serving as the JLR Research Manager and Digital Engineering Chapter Lead at Jaguar Land Rover since July 2014, Nicholas oversees digital research assets and physical validations while contributing to the advancement of new automotive technologies. In addition, Nicholas holds the position of National Plant Collector for the Thalictrum Genus at Plant Heritage, focusing on the preservation and breeding of rare plants. Previous roles include a Senior Research Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover and a Gardener at English Heritage. Nicholas possesses a robust academic background, with a 1st Class BSc in Product Design and Innovation from the University of Portsmouth, a Master’s in Automotive Engineering from the University of Warwick, and RHS Level 3 qualifications in Horticulture.
