Peter Alton

Peter Alton is an experienced engineer currently serving as the EPAS Software Integration Lead Engineer at JLR since September 2015, with previous roles including Chassis Current Car Lead Engineer and EPAS Project Engineer. Responsibilities include supporting hardware and software programs for vehicle lines, managing suppliers, and general project management. Peter also completed a two-year Graduate Scheme at JLR, focusing on EPAS systems and gaining experience in vehicle testing and manufacturing. Prior experience includes brake system development with Team Bath Racing and an industrial placement at Bentley Motors Ltd, where thermal conditions of chassis components were investigated. Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical with Automotive Engineering from the University of Bath.
