Steve Jefferies

Steve Jefferies has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as a System Test Owner for the Propulsive Torque System at JLR since January 2015, where responsibilities include delivering validation test plans for torque software and hardware. Previously held multiple leadership roles at JLR, such as Chapter Lead for Propulsive Torque Control SW Design and Manager for ICE & PHEV Energy Management Calibration, focusing on optimum energy use and emissions calibration. Steve also has experience as Event Organiser for The Rawlinson Bracket, managing a charity cycling event, and was Managing Director at Delta Engineering Recruitment, a supplier of agency staff to the automotive sector. With a background in EMS calibration at Pulse EMS Consultants and engineering roles at Jaguar Cars and Rover Group, Steve holds an MSc in Automotive Engineering and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Birmingham City University.
