Sahar Jahanikia

Sahar Jahanikia has a diverse work experience in the field of research and entrepreneurship. Sahar is currently the Head of the Center for Interdisciplinary Researches (CIR) at the Aspiring Scholars Directed Research Program (ASDRP) and a Board Member at the same organization. Sahar also holds the position of Principal Investigator/Research Scientist and Chair of the Biological, Human, and Life Sciences Department at ASDRP. Additionally, Sahar is the Founder & CEO of CognoTrain, an inventor at the same company, and the Founder, Director & Principal Investigator at Jahanikia NeuroLab. Sahar also served as a Neuroimaging Research Associate and Clinical Research Associate at Stanford. Before that, Sahar worked as a Neuroimaging Data Analyst at the University of California, San Francisco, where they pre-processed fMRI and EEG data and analyzed brain connectivity. Sahar started their career as an IT Consultant at Fujitsu India, where they administreated servers and Linux systems.

Sahar Jahanikia has a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Pune, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Sahar also attended Stanford University School of Medicine, where they received additional certifications such as Python Advanced for Data Practitioner and Project Management in 2018. In 2011, they became a RedHat Linux Certified Engineer and in 2010, they obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate certification. In 2018, Sahar returned to Stanford University School of Medicine for further education, but the specific degree or field of study is not provided. Sahar also obtained a certification in Statistical Analysis of fMRI Data, but the institution is unspecified.
