Julian Maurel

Julian Maurel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Julian started their career as a Freelance Developer in 2007, working on various projects until 2009. Following that, Maurel joined Netplus Communications in 2010 as a Project Manager, where they worked until 2013.

In 2013, Maurel transitioned to Jahia Solutions, initially working as a Senior Solutions Architect. In this role, they provided technical expertise and support to clients on integration challenges. Julian then advanced to the position of Lead Solutions Architect, where they oversaw solution development design and deployment strategies.

By 2018, Maurel moved up to become the Director of Cloud at Jahia Solutions. In this role, they managed cloud-related products and practices, including DevOps, platform optimization, troubleshooting, and monitoring. Maurel ensured that their solutions met high availability and maintainability standards while handling a large volume of user requests.

In 2021, Maurel further progressed to the position of Director of Products at Jahia Solutions, where they played a crucial role in product management and marketing. Julian was responsible for the design and implementation of elegant solutions that met rigorous standards. In 2023, Maurel was promoted to the position of Vice President of Product & Marketing at Jahia Solutions, where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Julian Maurel's education history begins in 2007 when they attended IUT Lannion and pursued a DUT in Informatique. Julian continued their studies at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Sciences. Additionally, in 2010-2011, Julian Maurel briefly studied at Trinity College Dublin and completed a Bachelor's degree in Informatique. Their latest educational achievement occurred in 2019 when they earned certification as an ISO 27001:2013 Lead Implementer from ISO 27001:2013.
