Ian Harris

Ian Harris is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in risk management and trading. Currently serving as the Head of Credit Risk at Jain Global LLC since June 2024, Harris previously held the position of Chief Trading Risk Officer at Credit Suisse International, where oversight of market, counterparty, and credit risk was a primary responsibility. With a tenure at Credit Suisse from 1997 to 2024, Harris progressed through various senior roles, including Head of Counterparty Portfolio Management and Managing Director. Earlier in his career, Harris worked as an Analyst at Bankers Trust, specializing in fixed income derivatives. Harris holds a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford.
