Jackson Thetford

Jackson Thetford possesses a robust background in engineering and finance, with significant experience in both teaching and analytical roles. At Jain Global, Jackson served as a US Power and Gas Analyst intern, focusing on power flow modeling and pricing. Following this, Jackson held a position as a Quantitative Analyst conducting research on systematic cross-commodity trading and energy modeling. Currently, Jackson is a Teaching Assistant at Rice University School of Engineering and Computing, assisting with a course on Crypto & Blockchain, while also having previously served as a Teaching Assistant for an MBA course on digital disruption in finance at Rice Business. Jackson is pursuing a Master of Engineering Management and Leadership with a concentration in Financial Engineering at Rice University, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Computational Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
