Kannan K

Kannan K has extensive experience in the renewable energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as JMD at Jakson Green Private Limited since July 2022, Kannan also founded Vocuni in August 2021, a learning platform aimed at equipping individuals with skills related to immersive technologies for sustainable livelihoods, addressing the projected workforce requirements in renewable energy and electric vehicles by 2030. Prior to these roles, Kannan was the COO at Sterling and Wilson Solar from September 2008 until September 2021, responsible for overall P&L management. Kannan's career started at ABB, where a role as Associate Vice President involved implementing projects across various sectors including power, steel, and petrochemicals with major clients such as Nuclear Power Corporation and Reliance Petroleum. Kannan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from the University of Madras.
