Aldo Barrera has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Aldo started their career in 2011 as a Web Developer at Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca, where they worked until April 2012. From March 2012 to November 2012, Aldo worked as a Web Developer at Sucrepress. In 2013, they worked as a Web Developer at Quality Net from February to April, and then at Fundación Jala from May 2013 to February 2014. Aldo then transitioned to software engineering roles and joined Community Brands in November 2014 as a Software Engineer, R&D. Aldo worked there until October 2018 and then took on the position of Software Engineer R&D from January 2018. In 2019, Aldo joined Universidad del Valle (BO) as an Adjunct Professor and later moved to Universidad Salesiana de Bolivia in 2022 in the same position. Most recently, they have been working at Jalasoft as a Staff Software Engineer and Staff Software Developer, starting from February and May 2014 respectively.
Aldo Barrera began their education in 2013, obtaining a Microsoft Certified Professional certification and a Microsoft Technology Associate certification in Software Development Fundamentals. In 2014, they obtained another Microsoft Technology Associate certification, this time in Web Development Fundamentals. In 2015, they completed a Diploma in higher education from Universidad Mayor de San Simón. Aldo then pursued an Engineer's Degree in Web Developer and Webmaster from Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca, completing their studies in 2012. Additionally, Aldo Barrera has obtained several certifications, including Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) in 2020 and various Coursera certifications, such as Blockchain Basics and Front-End Web Development with React, obtained in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
