Venice Williams is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various legal fields including real estate, estate planning, corporate and commercial law. Currently serving as the Director at the Jamaica Business Development Corporation and a member of the Board of Directors for the Jamaica National Agency for Accreditation, Venice also holds positions as a Legal Advisor at the BIMS School of Medicine and as a Partner and Attorney at Law at Lewis, Smith, Williams & Company. With additional roles as Corporate Secretary for Indies Pharma Jamaica Ltd and the National Irrigation Commission Limited, and as an Attorney at Law for West Indies Home Contractors Limited, Venice is well-established in the Caribbean's legal landscape. Venice’s distinguished education includes a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and a Master of Laws from the University at Buffalo, complemented by a strong background in business administration. Additionally, Venice contributes to legal discourse as a writer for The Jamaica Observer and serves as a Justice of the Peace with the Lay Magistrate Association of Jamaica.
