Rick Case

Rick Case, PMP, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the energy and project management sectors. Rick held various leadership roles at the Jamaica Public Service Company Limited, including Director of Engineering Services and Head of System Operations. In these positions, they were responsible for strategic planning, system control, and integrating new capital projects into the existing system. Rick also served as the SCADA/EMS Manager and Project Manager, ensuring the efficient operation of the power system. Prior to their career in energy, Rick was the Manager of Track and Field at Kingston College and held volunteer positions at the Project Management Institute Doctor Bird Chapter, including Vice President and Director of Marketing.

Rick Case, PMP, P.E. holds several degrees and certifications. Rick completed their BSc in Electrical Power Systems (Hons) from the University of Technology in 1996. In 2000, they pursued an MSC. in Computer based Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of the West Indies. Additionally, they obtained an Executive Masters in Sports Organisation Management (MEMOS) with a focus on Advanced Sports Management Course (ASMC) from the Jamaica Olympic Association - IOC Olympic Solidarity in 2014. Rick Case is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in 2010. Rick holds a Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation from the Professional Engineers Registration Board since 2012. In 2018, they acquired an Electrician's Licence from the Government of Jamaica, Ministry of Science Energy and Technology.
