Jennifer Tomes serves as Treasurer for James City County since January 1, 2015, after being appointed and subsequently elected for a four-year term. With prior roles including Assistant Treasurer and Senior Accountant, Jennifer has extensive experience in managing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and preparing financial documents for local fiscal agencies. In addition, Jennifer acts as Treasurer for the City of Williamsburg, assisting citizens with tax payments and managing banking for local public schools. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Saint Leo University.
