Carlos Ortiz

Carlos Ortiz is an experienced construction professional with a strong background in heavy civil projects. Since August 2018, Carlos has served as a Project Manager at PSC Houston Heavy Civil, acquiring comprehensive knowledge in various areas such as dirt work, underground utilities, asphalt, retaining walls, and paving. In this role, Carlos effectively manages communication between the field and office, coordinates subcontractor schedules, maintains project documentation, and fosters positive relationships between owners and general contractors. Prior to this, Carlos has held a position as Project Engineer at James Construction Group, LLC, since August 2015, and worked as Technician I in Aviation at Atkins from September 2009 to August 2015. Carlos holds a degree in Construction Management from the University of Houston.
