Rod Cook

Rod Cook is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in anatomical sciences and education. Currently serving as a Committee Member at the Australasian Institute of Anatomical Sciences since January 2023, Rod has held various roles at James Cook University since December 2018, including Manager of Anatomical Sciences and Human Bequest Coordinator. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Research Scientist focusing on biochemistry and haematology in premature neonates, as well as teaching positions in physics, maths, and accounting. Rod's academic background includes a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Medical Laboratory Sciences, along with various qualifications in education and specialized courses related to microbiomes and COVID-19 from esteemed institutions. Additionally, Rod has been involved in martial arts instruction and research while maintaining self-employment as a research scientist.
