Field Operations
Azarai Hernandez is a Landscape and Urban Designer at Field Operations since July 2023, with prior experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where involvement included Landscape Architecture and City Planning Studio projects on the Dominican Republic-Haiti border and a studio in Ibagué, Colombia. Azarai served as a Landscape Architecture Intern at MICHAEL VAN VALKENBURGH ASSOCIATES INC and held roles as a Guest Professor at Universidad Simón Bolívar, focusing on Architecture and Urban Design studios. Additional experience includes positions as Architect and Project Coordinator at Fundación Espacio, Intern Architect at Bloch Arquitetos Associados, and various volunteer opportunities aimed at community enhancement in Venezuela. Azarai holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning, as well as an Urban Design Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Architecture in Urban Design from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
