Field Operations
Gi chul Choe is a skilled landscape architectural and urban designer currently serving as a Project Designer at James Corner Field Operations since June 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where responsibilities involved organizing studio schedules and creating a project website, respectively. Choe has also worked as a Design Fellow at PennPraxis, contributing to the Quarry Waters Park analysis report. In South Korea, experience as a Landscape Designer at Dongsimwon involved participation in public projects and presentations, while work at Landaura included site analysis and graphic production for various projects. Early career internships focused on research and model production in landscape architecture. Choe holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Forestry and Landscape Architecture from Konkuk University.
