Nick Barnes

Nick Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nick started their career at Sage as a Channel Account Manager from 2000 to 2003. Nick then joined Eastman Kodak as a National Account Manager in 2003, focusing on maximizing sales of Kodak Digital products. From 2004 to 2006, they worked at 3M as a Business Development Manager in the Promotional Markets division. Nick then transitioned to the role of Key Account Manager in the Retail Markets division at 3M from 2006 to 2009. Following that, they became a Sales Manager in the Office Markets (Stationery & Office Supplies) division at 3M, managing the UK & I Office Markets Sales team from 2009 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they held the position of Sales & Marketing Manager in the Display Materials and Renewable Energy divisions at 3M. In 2015, they briefly served as the General Manager of the Commercial Solutions Division UK&I at 3M, responsible for full P&L leadership of the division. Nick then moved on to become the Channel & Key Account Lead for the West Europe region in the Commercial Solutions Division at 3M from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they hold the role of Sales Director at James Cropper plc, starting in 2018. Additionally, they have served as a Governor at The Lakes School since 2019.

Nick Barnes attended The Royal Latin School from 1988 to 1994. Nick then went on to study at the University of Surrey from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Retail Management.
