Aaron Erter

Aaron Erter is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at James Hardie since September 2022, Erter previously held the same position at PLZ Corp from November 2020 to August 2022. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Sherwin-Williams included roles such as President of the Performance Coatings Group, Global Consumer Group, and North American Consumer Brands Group, between June 2017 and November 2020. Erter’s career also encompasses senior leadership positions at Valspar, Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., and Black & Decker, with a focus on marketing and product development. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business.
