Joel Wasserman

Joel Wasserman has an extensive work experience spanning several decades. Joel began their career at Frankel & Company, where they started as an intern and quickly rose through the ranks to become a Senior Account Executive. Joel then moved on to Davidson Marketing as an Account Supervisor, managing accounts for major brands such as Kellogg's and Kraft Foods. After that, they joined Kessler & Associates as Sr. Account Director, where they doubled agency billings through new business development.

In 1994, Wasserman became Vice President and Partner at J.M. Glass + Associates Integrated Marketing Communications, responsible for all aspects of the agency's operations and instrumental in its growth. In 2006, they co-founded The VisionWorks Group, where they successfully launched a line of paper shredder products under the Black & Decker brand, eventually selling the company to HoMedics in 2008.

Wasserman then joined HoMedics as General Manager of Black & Decker and Defender Safety & Security Products. Joel later joined Valspar Corporation as Sr. Director of Brand Management, overseeing the Valspar stable of brands. After five years at Valspar, they joined Sherwin-Williams as Senior Director of Marketing for Paint Brands.

In 2022, Wasserman took on the role of Director of Corporate Communications, Initiatives & Services at The Sherwin-Williams Company. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Communications & Brand Management at James Hardie since 2023. Joel'sextensive experience in communications and brand management has contributed to their success in the industry.

Joel Wasserman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
