Matthew Pearse

Matthew Pearse is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and sales management across the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Director of Operations at James Hardie, Matthew has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Head of Business Planning for Australia and New Zealand, and National Sales Operations Manager for Australia. Recognized as Zero Harm Person of the Year for APAC in 2022/23, and previously awarded Team Leader of the Year and Commercial Person of the Year in earlier years, Matthew's accolades reflect strong leadership and performance. Prior experience includes positions as General Manager at Doric, and roles at Whites Group, Knauf Insulation, Sun Pacific Trade, and ITW Proline, among others. Matthew holds multiple executive education qualifications from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Diploma in Business Management from TAFE NSW. Currently pursuing a Certificate in Data Governance for Leaders, Matthew continues to enhance professional capabilities.
