Roland Russ

Roland Russ currently serves as the Head of IT at James Hardie Europe GmbH since October 2018, with previous experience as Head of IT Operations in Supply Chain Services at Byk Chemie from February 2016 to September 2018. Prior roles include Service Delivery Manager at Deloitte Consulting Solution GmbH for a brief period in late 2015, Director of the SAP Business Unit at Novia Systems from June 2013 to May 2014, and Directeur Global Delivery Unit SAP at T-Systems France from October 2011 to June 2013. Roland also held the position of CIO and Head of IT at novero GmbH from August 2008 to October 2011, following a management buy-out of Nokia’s automotive business unit. Early career experiences include roles at Nokia, T-Systems, and Lufthansa Systems, with a foundation in project management and systems analysis. Roland holds a Diplom in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Technische Universität Darmstadt and was an exchange student in Computer Science and Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, supported by a scholarship from DAAD.
