Yael Pinhas currently serves as a teacher at James Madison High School and is also involved as a teacher with NYC Teaching Fellows, both roles starting in 2023. Prior teaching experience includes a position at Be'er Hagolah Institutes from September 2021 to May 2023. Additionally, Yael Pinhas has experience as a data entry clerk at Dr. Milton J Grunzweig and as an advisor with NCSY. Leadership skills were demonstrated as President of Hillel and a Student Ambassador at Kingsborough Community College from 2018 to 2020, complemented by volunteer work with Yachad, which focuses on the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the Jewish community. Research experience was gained through the CUNY Research Scholars Program, while vital coordination skills were honed at COJO Flatbush. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education at Pace University, education history also includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Hunter College.
