Bodeene Amyot Cairdeas

Bodeene Amyot Cairdeas is a skilled professional with extensive experience in digital and audiovisual archiving, knowledge management, and education. Currently serving as the Digital & Audiovisual Archivist at James Madison University Libraries since July 2019, Bodeene is responsible for managing born-digital and audiovisual collections. In addition to this role, Bodeene is the Director of Knowledge Management & Learning Design at Flow Knowledge Design Studios, overseeing the development of accessible digital multimedia content. As a Co-Director and Open Knowledge Librarian Fellow at the University of Hartford, Bodeene is involved in developing a participatory controlled vocabulary project. Previous roles include the Mukurtu Hub Archivist at the University of Oregon, Head of Digital Collections at the Deschutes Historical Museum, and various educational positions. Bodeene holds multiple degrees in related fields, including a Master of Library & Information Science and a Master of Education with a Montessori Concentration.
