Cassidy Clements

Cassidy Clements currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development at James Madison University, a position held since February 2023, where an overhaul of the strategic mission and vision was executed to enhance the holistic growth of 515 student-athletes. Previously, a Career Readiness Coordinator at the University of Virginia, Cassidy provided comprehensive career support across 14 NCAA Division I sports and organized 167 individual coaching sessions for student-athletes. Experience as the Assistant Director of Athletic Academic Services and Compliance at Virginia Military Institute involved developing and assessing academic support programming for 217 cadet-athletes. Cassidy's background also includes significant roles at James Madison University, such as Graduate Assistant for Student-Athlete Leadership Development and a Student-Athlete Services Tutor. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sport and Recreation Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management, both from James Madison University.
