Connie Peterson

Connie Peterson is an experienced educator in the field of athletic training, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Athletic Training Program at James Madison University since August 2002. Prior to this role, Connie held a position as an Instructor in the Athletic Training Education Program at Ball State University from September 1994 to July 1998 and worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Methodist Sports Medicine from 1990 to 1994. Connie's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education (1998-2002), a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Ithaca College (1988-1990), and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training/Trainer from Indiana University Bloomington (1983-1987).
