Jeff James

Jeff James is the President and CEO of James Marine, a successful boat company based in the United States. Jeff has a long and successful history in the boating industry, having worked as a captain and operations manager for a number of companies before taking on their current role.

Jeff started their career in the boating industry in 1990, working as a sportfishing captain for Reel Deal Charters. For the next 21 years, Jeff worked hard to build up their reputation as an expert captain, winning several billfish tournaments along the way. In 2011, Jeff left Reel Deal Charters to take on the role of Operations Manager at Bayliss Boatworks.

At Bayliss Boatworks, Jeff was responsible for managing operations, facility and grounds renovations, efficiency, personnel morale, graphic and literary marketing, and refit project coordination of elite Sportfishing Yachts. Jeff also provided support for the boatyard and mobile service projects. Jeff did an excellent job in this role and was promoted to President & CEO of James Marine in 2012.

Under Jeff’s leadership, James Marine has gone from strength to strength, becoming one of the most successful boat companies in the United States. Thanks to Jeff’s passion for the boating industry and their dedication to their work, James Marine is now a leading name in the industry.

Jeff James has a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from Randolph Macon College and a Gloucester High School.
