Bonnie Bley

Bonnie Bley is a seasoned professional in public policy, currently serving as Senior Manager and Head of Energy and Environment Policy at the James Martin Institute for Public Policy since January 2025. Prior to this role, Bonnie held positions at Nous Group as Director and Manager from August 2022 to December 2024, and as Manager of Grants and Evaluation at the Judith Neilson Institute for Journalism & Ideas from April 2020 to August 2022. Experience also includes roles as Research Fellow and Research Associate at the Lowy Institute from September 2016 to April 2020, and Editorial Assistant at the International Institute for Strategic Studies from August 2015 to August 2016. Early career highlights include serving as Event Coordinator for TedX Conferences from June 2012 to June 2013. Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in European Social and Political Studies from UCL, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Relations and Italian from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma from the International School of Hamburg.
