James Ramsay was established in 1920 and has grown to become one of the country's most experienced and well respected specialists in industrial and commercial pipework, heating and process systems. We offer our customers total support in the areas of pipework, heating and process requirements, from the provision of maintenance and emergency repairs to major pipework and heating plant installations and upgrades. We also offer short and long term hot water boiler hire. We have a strong customer base including large scale industrial and manufacturing sites, facilities management companies, M&E contractors, and those operating in the following sectors: local authorities, NHS, education, food and beverages. Our managers and engineers have decades of experience and first class technical capabilities. Our customers rely on us to provide the highest level of service, and we always respond and rise the challenge. While we are proud of our heritage we are constantly seeking to develop and improve the company. In 2013, Managing Director, Raymond Shepherd, led a buy-out backed by Nevis Capital, which owns a portfolio of businesses in the industrial sector, to take the business on its next phase of growth. More recently, Nevis Capital supported us to acquired a specialist boiler hire business.
