Carmel James CPA, CA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Carmel James started their career at EY in 2008 as a Summer Intern in Assurance. After completing their degree, they joined EY again in 2009 as a Senior Staff Accountant. In 2012, Carmel moved to BCE Inc. where they worked as a Manager of Financial Accounting for Bell TV until 2014. Carmel James then joined SkyPower Global as the Manager of Financial Reporting until 2016. Since 2016, Carmel has been working at Jamieson Wellness Inc., initially as a Manager, Category Finance, Planning and Analysis, then as Director of Commercial Finance, and currently as the Senior Director of Corporate Finance.
Carmel James CPA, CA has a Hons. BBA degree in Accounting, which was obtained with distinction from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Additionally, Carmel has obtained certifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, and as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. These certifications were obtained in 2012.
