Stephen Pirak

Stephen Pirak has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Stephen began their career at Deloitte Canada, where they worked as a Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, and eventually a Manager in Assurance and Advisory. In this role, they led significant client engagements and managed project complexities within various sectors. Additionally, Pirak served as a CFE Team Leader, overseeing a team of UFE Markers and providing feedback on their performance. Stephen also took on the responsibility of head of Campus Recruitment for Western University and Richard Ivey School of Business. Currently, Pirak holds the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning and Commercial Finance at Jamieson Wellness Inc., where they previously served as Senior Director of Commercial Finance and Planning and Director of Corporate Finance. Throughout their career, Pirak has demonstrated strong financial reporting and analysis skills, as well as experience in IPO readiness, budgeting, and compliance.

Stephen Pirak attended Western University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Structures degree with an Honors Specialization in Finance and Administration. In 2014, they obtained certification as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario).
