Kate Chilton

Kate Chilton is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Arbitrator, Mediator, Referee, Special Master, Neutral Evaluator, and Judge Pro Tem at JAMS since November 2023. Previously, Kate served as a Judge with the Los Angeles Superior Court from September 2020 until retirement in June 2023. From October 2017 to September 2020, Kate was the Director of Content Litigation at Netflix, and prior to that, held the position of Vice President and Senior Litigation Counsel at Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. for 24 years. Early career experience includes roles as an Associate at Skadden Arps and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, as well as an Associate Transportation Economist at Missouri Pacific Railroad. Kate's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
