Santosh Nargund

Santosh Nargund has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Santosh is currently working as the Head of Civic Participation at Janaagraha since February 2022. Prior to this, Santosh founded Prakruti Eco Solutions in January 2017, where they hold the position of Founder.

From June 2016 to February 2023, they served as a Leadership & Management Consultant at ACE Consulting. Santosh also held the position of Director at the Rashtrotthan Institute of Societal Excellence from January 2014 to February 2023.

Before venturing into consulting and nonprofit sectors, Santosh worked in the aerospace industry. Santosh served as a Senior Technical Manager at UTC Aerospace Systems from June 2009 to May 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Wipro Technologies as a Project Lead from May 2007 to May 2009, and at Tata Technologies as a Team Manager from November 2006 to June 2007.

Santosh started their career as a Scientist at the Aeronautical Development Agency, Ministry of Defence, Government of India from October 2002 to November 2006.

Santosh Nargund has a diverse education history. In 1994, they graduated from Karnatak University with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering. Santosh then went on to pursue a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Structural Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, which they completed in 2000. In 2005, they attended the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) for a Certificate Program for Scientists in Aerospace Engineering.

In 2012-2013, Santosh Nargund enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they completed the Executive Program in Leadership, focusing on Leadership & Management.

Additionally, Santosh Nargund holds a certification as a Lean Practitioner from Goodrich. Santosh is also a member of The Aeronautical Society of India, which specializes in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology.
