Dr. Vasan S S

Dr. Vasan S S has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of healthcare and reproductive medicine. Dr. Vasan started their career as a Clinical Research Fellow at Changi General Hospital Pte Ltd in Singapore in 1996. Dr. Vasan then moved on to NU Hospital in 1998, where they served as the Head of the Department of Male Reproduction, Erectile Dysfunction, and Incontinence until 2009. In 2005, Dr. Vasan joined Manipal Hospital as the Director of Manipal Andrology & Reproductive Services (MARS) until 2013. During this time, they also served as the Medical Director & CEO of Manipal Ankur Andrology and Reproductive Services (MAARS) from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they became the Chairman of Manipal Fertility. In 2008, Dr. Vasan took on the role of Managing Director at Ankur Healthcare Pvt Ltd, and in 2020, they became the Medical Director & CEO of the same company. Additionally, in 2020, they co-founded Janani, a virtual tech-enabled fertility service management platform.

Dr. Vasan S S began their educational journey in 1976 at St Johns Medical College. Dr. Vasan pursued their MBBS degree, completed in 1981. Additionally, they obtained two Diplomate of National Board (DNB) degrees in surgery and urology, respectively. In the field of study, Dr. Vasan specialized in Andrology, Incontinence, and Men's Health. Moreover, they further enhanced their expertise by completing a Fellowship in Andrology & Neurourology.
