Nilay Mehrotra

Nilay Mehrotra has a diverse work experience starting from 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Intern at Dc Design, where they had the opportunity to work on India's first supercar project, Dc Avanti, and was mentored by Mr. Dilip Chabbria.

In 2015, they worked as an Engineer at Dc Design, where they were involved in new product engineering, vendor development, and reviewing technical data sheets.

Starting from 2016, Nilay founded CharIoT Tech and served as the Founder and CEO. CharIoT Tech is an Industrial AI and IoT company that disrupts the manufacturing industry. Nilay successfully built the business from a startup, raised funding, and developed advanced AI and IoT software for operational excellence. Nilay worked at CharIoT Tech until 2019.

In 2017, Nilay became the Founding Director of SenRa, a leading LoraWan network operator in India. Nilay played a crucial role in the hiring process and contributed to the company's offerings in smart cities, logistics, and industrial IoT. Nilay worked at SenRa until 2018.

Moving forward, in 2020, Nilay founded Kindly, a company that joined Y Combinator's W22 cohort. Nilay currently holds the position of Founder and CEO at Kindly.

In 2022, Nilay also became a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC), an invitation-only organization comprised of successful entrepreneurs 45 and younger. The YEC represents a variety of industries and generates significant revenue and job creation.
