Simon Zhuang

Simon Zhuang is a Quantitative Trader at Jane Street since June 2020, having previously completed two internships at the same firm in 2018 and 2019. Simon's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, where research involved equitable optimization under Professors Gireeja Ranade and Swati Gupta, as well as AI safety studies with Dylan Hadfield-Menell and Professor Stuart Russell. Prior educational experience includes attending The Ohio State University and graduating from Dublin Jerome High School.
