Cassidy Kapson

Cassidy Kapson has a diverse range of work experience. Cassidy started their career at Columbia College Chicago, where they served as the Creative Director for the Manifest Urban Arts Festival, overseeing the creation and production of various design materials.

After that, they worked at Dr. Graphx as a Production Artist, handling design projects, managing production workflow, and communicating with clients. Cassidy then joined Alphagraphics West Loop as a Digital Production and Finishing Operator, where they were responsible for file setup, operating digital printers, and finishing different print projects.

In 2019, Cassidy joined EPIK (English Program in Korea) as a Native English Teacher, teaching English as a Foreign Language to elementary students. Cassidy planned lessons, collaborated with other teaching staff, and executed lesson plans to cater to various student levels.

In 2020, they transitioned to Alphagraphics Chicago Loop / West Loop as a Large Format Specialist, focusing on large-format printing and finishing until the end of 2021.

Cassidy also showcased their skills as a freelance designer and illustrator through their business, Cassidy Kapson Art. Cassidy worked with various clients, including The 9:30 Club DC, House of Blues Chicago, and Live For Live Music, managing design projects, networking, and handling financial negotiations.

Most recently, they joined Jane Technologies, Inc. in 2022 as a Brand Designer, responsible for developing marketing strategies, managing social media presence, and collaborating cross-functionally to execute marketing campaigns. Cassidy also provides internal and external product education.

Cassidy Kapson completed their high school education at Neuqua Valley High School from 2008 to 2012, earning a high school diploma. Following this, they pursued their bachelor's degree in Illustration at Columbia College Chicago from 2012 to 2016, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Illustration.
