Jordan ven der Buhs

Jordan van der Buhs has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jordan currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Jane Technologies, Inc. since March 2023. Previously, they worked at Softmax Data Inc. as a Ruby on Rails Developer from January 2022 to March 2023.

From April 2018 to November 2021, Jordan served as an Engineering Lead at Glass Canvas, a faith-tech and consulting company. Jordan was responsible for maintaining the project's vision, managing development requirements, programming alongside developers, and administering web servers and deploys through Rancher/Ansible.

Before that, from June 2014 to April 2018, Jordan worked as a Software Engineer & Malware Analyst at EFS E-Forensic Services Inc. Jordan performed forensic analysis, password decryption, and automated reporting for government agencies. Jordan also developed software for automated memory and hard drive scans to flag malware behavior.

In addition to their professional roles, Jordan also served as a Lab Monitor at the University of the Fraser Valley in January 2015 and as a General Laborer at Chilliwack Heritage Park from June 2012 to August 2014.

Jordan ven der Buhs has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of the Fraser Valley. In addition, they have taken courses in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism at the Guidance Training Centre, where they obtained a certification in EnCE from Guidance Software in July 2017.
