Elias Najjar

Elias Najjar has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Their most recent role is as a Lead Software Engineering Consultant at Janea Systems, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at FreeBusy from February 2021 to October 2021. Elias also has experience as a Senior Backend Developer at Mobilonia from May 2018 to January 2021, and at Thomson Reuters from January 2018 to June 2018. Additionally, Elias has worked as a Project Manager at PlanB Solutions from April 2018 to January 2021. Before these roles, they were a self-employed Freelance Software Engineer from January 2016 to January 2021. Elias has also gained experience as a Senior Software Developer at GMIV from September 2011 to March 2016, where they developed client and internal front office software and implemented a distributed system approach for automated data processing. Elias started their professional journey as a Graduate Assistant at the American University of Beirut from October 2010 to June 2012 and as a Webmaster from June 2008 to June 2010. Finally, Elias began their career as an Intern at Thomson Reuters from July 2009 to September 2009.

Elias Najjar has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and computer science. Elias began their education journey at Saint Joseph School, where they completed their high school studies with a focus on General Sciences from 1992 to 2006.

Following their high school education, Elias attended the American University of Beirut from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer and Communications Engineering. This program provided him with a solid foundation in the field.

After successfully completing their undergraduate studies, Elias continued their education at the American University of Beirut from 2010 to 2013. Elias pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, further specializing in this field.

In addition to their formal education, Elias obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon in November 2020. This certification signifies their expertise and knowledge in architecting scalable and reliable applications on the Amazon Web Services platform.
