Fernanda Gianos has over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Fernanda currently serves as the Director of Operations at Janko Hospitality since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Housekeeping at Great Wolf Lodge from April 2022 to October 2022.
Fernanda also holds experience as an EVS Supervisor at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center (May 2021 to April 2022), where they supervised all environmental services and managed a team of 110 members to ensure cleanliness and sanitation guidelines were met.
Fernanda has also held various management positions at Thompson Chicago (June 2020 to May 2021) and Thompson Hotels- Two Roads Hospitality (March 2017 to October 2017). Fernanda managed hotel operations and coordinated the quality, efficiency, and satisfaction of guests at these establishments.
Fernanda started their career as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Sofitel Chicago Water Tower (May 2011 to May 2013) and Embassy Suites (May 2010 to May 2011). Throughout their career, Fernanda has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, maintain quality standards, and ensure guest satisfaction in the hospitality industry.
Fernanda Gianos attended Centro Universitário UNA from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management with a focus on Hospitality Administration/Management. Fernanda also has additional certifications, including the Certified Health Care Environmental Technician (CHEST) and Certification Training for Surgical Cleaning Technicians (CSTC), obtained in 2021 from the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE).
