Brian Melton

Brian Melton is a seasoned professional in energy investment banking, currently serving as Managing Director at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC since August 2022. Prior experience includes significant roles at Abraxas Petroleum, Inc. as a Director on the Board, where notable contributions involved six years as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Brian also held senior leadership positions at NorthStar Midstream and Blueknight Energy Partners, LP, as well as advancing corporate development at Inergy, L.P. and serving in director roles at A.G. Edwards and TransMontaigne. An alumnus of Arkansas State University, Brian earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance.
