Jens Gertsen

Jens Gertsen is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in backend engineering and technology leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer and lead crypto at Januar since June 2022, Jens has also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at multiple companies including Alverdens dyr and Okayfood from January 2019 to June 2022, and at tekstur.dk from January 2001 to June 2022. Earlier in the career, Jens was a Lead Developer at Superflatmate from August 2015 to January 2017. Jens holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Danish Studies (Linguistics) from Roskilde University and completed secondary education at Rødovre gymnasium from August 1991 to June 1994.
