AJ Jordan

AJ Jordan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. AJ started their career in 2015 as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where they analyzed online behavior and wrote Python code for data analysis. In 2017, AJ participated in the self-directed programming institute called the Recurse Center, where they improved their programming skills and taught security classes. They also had an internship at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, where they implemented a bot for issue triage. AJ contributed as an Invited Expert in the Social Web Working Group at W3C, developing technical standards for decentralized social networking applications. They also worked as a contractor at Intevation GmbH and interned at the Rochester Police Department, where they helped validate and clean data for the Business Intelligence division. Most recently, AJ joined a company as a Software Engineer in January 2021.
