Brian Chesley

Brian Chesley is an accomplished Engineering Manager with a strong background in software engineering and data analysis. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager since September 2019, Brian has previously held roles such as Software Engineering Manager and Team Lead at Daugherty Business Solutions, where expertise in back-end software, APIs, and visualization libraries was demonstrated. A sabbatical at the Recurse Center allowed Brian to enhance programming skills through collaborative learning and mentorship. Earlier experience as a Data Engineer at Post Holdings focused on ETL processes and data visualization for executive reporting. Brian's professional journey began with an educational foundation in Statistics (M.A., Washington University in St. Louis) and Economics (B.A., Carleton College), complemented by an international role as an Auxiliare de Conversación with the Spanish Ministry of Education.
