Darren Jian

Darren Jian's work experience includes a recent position as a Software Engineer with a company starting in December 2021. Before this, they worked at Skinalytics, Inc as a Software Engineering Intern from January 2020 to May 2020. In this role, they developed tools and APIs to automate data insertion and update to improve time efficiency and fixed bugs in the Android application. Prior to that, Darren worked at Microsoft Outreach from September 2019 to June 2020 as a Computer Science Mentor and Tutor. In this role, they collaborated with Microsoft student partners and program managers to create curriculum for Microsoft products, helped develop Microsoft Azure workshops for middle-school students to learn about machine learning, and organized workshops at UCSD for curriculum peer review with students and faculty.

Darren Jian completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from UC San Diego from 2017 to 2021.
