Katherine Kester

Katherine Kester is an experienced educator and creative arts manager with a diverse background in art instruction and program development. Currently serving as the Creative Arts Manager at Janus Developmental Services since June 2023, Katherine previously held the role of Creative Arts Coordinator. As a Secondary Art Teacher at Liberty Christian School from July 2021 to June 2023, Katherine restructured the student council, led various student events, and created original art lessons while also securing multiple grants to enhance school sustainability. Earlier positions include teaching roles at Elwood Community School Corporation and Anderson High School, where Katherine successfully implemented engaging lesson plans and collaborated with fellow educators to foster a positive learning environment. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Ball State University.
