Kathleen Fullerton has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Kathleen currently works as a Project Coordinator in Transition Resources for Hope Partnership participants at Janus Youth Programs, where they focus on engaging programs and partners for financial, social, and technical education and tools. Prior to this, Kathleen worked as an English Language Teacher.
Before joining Janus Youth Programs, Kathleen served as a Pulitzer Center Teaching Fellow at Pulitzer Center. During their time there, they contributed to teaching initiatives. Furthermore, Kathleen has an extensive history with Janus Youth Programs, Inc., where they held various roles as a Project Coordinator. Kathleen focused on transition services for youth in the Hope Partnership program, bringing connections and partnerships into the facility for a smoother transition to the community.
Kathleen also has experience with AmeriCorps, where they worked as a Project Manager for the Hope Partnership program at Maclaren YCF. Kathleen successfully implemented the pilot program and embedded it in the Treatment Support Services spectrum. Additionally, they worked as an Oregon State Service Corps AmeriCorps member, addressing community needs in various areas.
Earlier in their career, Kathleen worked at Colton Middle School as an Administrative Intern and Teacher, where they taught Health and served as an administrative substitute. Kathleen also worked at West Linn High School as a Health and Physical Education Teacher, delivering comprehensive curriculum and collaborating with other teachers.
Lastly, Kathleen has prior experience as a Law Enforcement Officer with the City of Hollywood. Kathleen performed emergency police response, community service, and security duties, and also completed additional Canine Training Academy for their role as a Canine Officer.
Kathleen Fullerton has an education history that includes various degrees and certifications. In 2021, they obtained a Cambridge Assessment Certificate in CELTA from the University of Cambridge. In 2009 and 2010, they attended Portland State University, where they pursued an Initial Administrative License. From 2004 to 2007, Kathleen earned a Master's Degree from Portland State University in Education Policy, Foundation, and Administrative Studies, with a focus on Leadership in Ecology, Culture & Learning. Kathleen also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education K-12 from Florida International University. Additionally, Kathleen obtained an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement from Broward College.
