Russell Lund

Russell Lund has over 10 years of work experience in the biotech and laboratory field. Russell began their career in 2006 as a Biotech Technician and Student Mentor in Biotech for the Amgen Bruce Wallace High School Outreach at the Pasadena Bioscience Collaborative. In 2007, they became a Research Associate at nAble, and in 2008 they joined the House Ear Institute as a Research Associate. In 2010, they began working at PLC Diagnostic Systems / iNDX Lifecare as a Biotech Research Assistant, Operations Manager, and Lab Manager. In this role, they were responsible for Elisa Assay development for point of care diagnostics, as well as lab maintenance and regulations, preparation of equipment and samples, and safety management. In 2012, they took on a role as a Biology Teaching Assistant at CSUN. In 2016, they became a Laboratory Supervisor at Circuit Therapeutics, where they were also responsible for purchasing/receiving and on-site IT help. In 2019, they held two roles, as a Lab Manager at Ripple Foods and a Senior Research Associate and Lab Manager at Willow Biosciences Inc. Most recently in 2020, they joined Zai Lab as a Facility Manager, and in 2022 they will become the Laboratory Operations Manager at Janux Therapeutics.

Russell Lund obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Cell Molecular Biology/Biotechnology and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from California State University, Northridge from 2007 to 2010. In 2019, they obtained a DOT Hazmat Employee 49 CFR 172.704 certification from NES, Inc. as well as a Uniform hazardous waste manifest 22CCR 66262.23 certification from NES, Inc.
