Yuta Nakajima

Yuta Nakajima is an experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in systems engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Visiting Researcher at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Yuta focuses on model-based systems engineering methodologies and behavior modeling using state analysis. At the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Yuta has held various roles, including Flight Project Systems Engineer for the Engineering Test Satellite-9, managing power processing units for Hall Effect Thrusters and leading research and development activities. Yuta's earlier experience at JAXA included roles in small satellite systems engineering, where research and development efforts were directed towards components like MEMS rate sensors. Yuta holds multiple degrees from Keio University, specializing in control engineering, and participated in the Space Studies Program at the International Space University.
